'Avenue of Colour' painting by Janice Lyall
'I love walking through avenues of trees in the morning sun. Light bounces back from openings between the canopies, enticing me to wander forwards. Walking past the tall trunks, I feel distant echoes of protection afforded me by my grandfather's enormous legs, as I held his hand in determined search of 'beasts' in his runner bean stakes!
